Unina Collaboration

Pracal activates a collaboration with the University of Naples Federico II

Collaboration with the University Research Center reinforces our company's underlying principles of innovation and sustainability.

In the construction market and beyond, there is an increasing awareness of the concept of business innovation, understood according to multiple points of view as a union between human resources and available technology, improvement of business processes, and the creation of finished products that are perfectly responsive to market needs. This is the result of an ever-changing society that generates a market characterized by rapidly changing demand, resulting in companies adapting.

We at Pracal are well aware of the needs of an ever-developing market, which is why the company's main rule revolves around the idea of innovation, hence the need to forge a collaborative link with the University of Naples Federico II (UniNa). The agreement in question allows us to rely on those who have the skills and useful tools to carry out an analytical study aimed at optimizing our business processes and finished products.

The collaborative relationship respects corporate ethics and values while ensuring and promoting the interests of the University of Naples. It is an opportunity for continued growth aimed at the technological and entrepreneurial growth of our region, Campania.

Our corporate policy, evidenced by our collaboration with the University, has renewal-oriented decision-making and production processes at its foundation. This naturally enables us to take a long-term view with respect to production and finished products, which, in conjunction with the work done by UniNa researchers, allows us to structure a corporate status focused on innovation and sustainability.

The research program through the scientific method, involves an intensive phase of design and field experimentation that allows us to verify the possible technical and innovative solutions to be adopted in the company, we recall among others, the recovery of waste materials reused for the development of a new product. We thus optimize materials from production by reducing or, eliminating altogether, waste materials present in the company.
In addition, with respect to products, through experimental tests, numerical analysis, and instrumental and multi-physical optimization techniques in line with the prerogatives of the Research Center, we aim to improve the physical-mechanical characteristics of our shutters and profiles; the durability and reliability of our components; and the performance of specific systems of the window and door frame, to facilitate their use as well.

In this way we ensure superior quality aluminum, steel and PVC profiles and shutters: better performing, more efficient, more durable.
Itimproves the user experience of the entire shading system , which will be easier to install and, for those who will require our profiles or accessories, easier to assemble. Technologically innovative blackout systems will be able to be customized consistently with the customer's needs and with respect to the outdoor setting to which they will be exposed, presenting state-of-the-art mechanical and structural features, all achieved in optimized production times.

Later we will communicate all the news that will come out of this fruitful collaboration between Pracal and the Federico II University of Naples.

We have become a leader in the window and door industry in Italy partly because we pay close attention to the needs of the market, always taking into consideration the needs of the individual customer. Our work responds to the needs that the window and door industry has today, studying and examining what is the most useful and convenient future direction to take in order to make our customers' experience even more satisfying.

Together with the Federico II University of Naples, we are working to improve the window and door industry.
